Remembering Our Loved Ones

After Thanksgiving last week it only feels right to spend some time reflecting and honouring those who have gone before me. I attended a wonderful, touching, heart felt Evening of Remembrance and Gratitude by Ananda Texas, and I was inspired to create a blog for remembering our loved ones. There were some peoples funerals who I never got to attend either due to Covid 19 and because of my dedication towards my spiritual path, studies and path to Kriya Yoga. Virtually I have put a candle with the names of the people from my community in Manchester, who I have remembered, supported, family members and friends who have held a special place in my heart. I would also like to uphold those who I don’t know who have passed away and those who I have forgotten in my heart. I have written a few words in their honour below and felt guided to play some of Witney Houston music and Ashford & Simpson.

I Honour Those Who Have Gone Before Me

I honour those who have gone before me

May the lighting of the virtual candle

Be ever present in you

May it shine forth to know that you are here

Your spirit remains in high places

In through all that may arise

Be though

Be with me

Be within you

For within you is me

May the reciting of these words always bless you

Blessings & Love

Amen
