My Thoughts in July

So has anyone ever done this before renewed a phone contract, received the phone in the post and still hasn’t opened the package? Is there a name for this I would like to know? We are now in August and I have had the phone since June :)... To be fair I am not really a phone person, I don’t personally have attachments to my phone like I used to… But I find this very unusual…

By the way, I still havent took the phone out of the box :)

The month’s title Taking the Next Step to God in her Unkown Destination was inspired by this month’s podcast by Nayaswami Devi…called Take That Step! Which you can listen to below.

In July I have been spending time in reflection in many areas of my life and what God wants for me… Even though it may appear obvious, there are parts of me that are still unsure… The path of God is unique to all who embrace the path and unknown it sure is…One thing that is guaranteed is that know one can ever give you a qualification or a certificate on how to develop a relationship with God…

It is between you and him and her…

Over the years I have watched how some Churches have stayed the same in their teachings or ministering about god and others have become open to viewing God not in a biblical way, but through love, nature, consciousness etc…Are any of these ways of viewing God wrong? If it was about 15 years ago I would have said yes… But today my heart is open and expanded to viewing how others view their God in their way and respecting their choices… There is know wrong or right way of connecting with God… God is everywhere and in everything that we do… When a baby is born into the world it doesn’t know the bible or any religious text… it rarely even knows its parents, but God’s unconditional love and presence is within surrounding and protecting the baby… Why can’t that still be applied today? I love the Bible and all religious texts and non religious texts, but in the end, we can’t take it with us… We have to learn how to hold on to something that is much more greater and powerful than we are and in the language that we understand.

I believe right now in the times that we are living in it is how we treat each other, is all that matters. In this new age of 2023, we can’t bypass and we can’t pretend to be something that we are not…If we can invite God’s presence, God’s awareness, God’s Love or a Higher Power into our lives it will help us a great deal… It grieves me how people are leaving this Earth Plane and they are leaving with conflict in their relationships or with their families, committing suicide and leaving their children behind, I mean the list goes on.

Today think about your relationships and what more can you do with God’s help to take another step… I know that sometimes God may enter and remove us from our families or friends and this is not to be seen as something to improve or work on, as God will do this for us naturally… If God has done this to you trust, and have faith, God knows best…

Blogs

Also in July, I have been reflecting on my homeschooling journey for the year… Which I have written a blog to share with you all, in the blog you will receive a link to read my son’s online book that we did together… I have also written another blog called ….

A Sacred Illness… A Family of Monks and Nuns…
That Deserved to be Celebrated

Where I share a bit about my life growing up in a family who had Huntington’s Disease Chroea… You will find the links to both blogs below.

Can you Help?

I have recently finished Ananda Spiritual Counselling Course in May and I would like to continue practising the skills I have developed, I am offering Ananda Spiritual Counselling for a donation of your choice. If you are interested or know anyone who may be in need of counselling please contact me at sushumnachapel@gmail.com or see the link below to book an appointment.

I recently offered two counselling sessions for free, where there was a generous donation made of £80.39 (which will go to purchasing the Sushmna Chapel Website). Here is the feedback I received with permission from my client.

“I felt I could trust you and that we shared our guru's presence. You took everything at an ideal speed of prayer and brief meditation to link our spirits. You let me be heard, and then let me know I'm loved by many people.

You followed up with inspirational ideas to move forward with, which at some stage I will revisit. It was a blessing to have your help when I needed it, with a like-minded soul.  You are a bright light for our Master’s.”
