During the memorial service Swami Kriyananda said, “My relationship with  Karuna was not so much on a personal level. We didn’t have many opportunities to  share outwardly, but inwardly I felt his soul. I used to say to him, ‘I feel you are a  good soul.’ I felt deep respect for him. Love, yes, but respect, more than anything  else. I feel blessed to have known him.”
