Chapter 18: The Courage to Love — Andy’s Story

WHEN I ASKED Andy’s friend Margaret about his last few months, she responded, “As the end drew near, Andy became determined to create a beautiful, healing experience for his mother and his sister. Neither of them had ever seen someone die. “In July, 2013, he stayed in my house at Ananda for a couple of weeks before heading back to Laguna Beach. He was exploring some alternative healing modalities. He didn’t really want to leave Ananda for that last month, but he had an important obligation to his family.

“I believe that Andy’s spirit, together with the grace of our masters, orchestrated this last stage of his life and made his passing a beautiful and tranquil experience for us all. What a blessing! He had the prayers and support of his friends. He died in his mother’s arms, with his sister holding his hands. He was looking out the large bedroom window of the Crystal Hermitage Guest House, surrounded by trees and the nature he loved.”

The next intuitive art and poetry posting will be in this dedicated space on Sunday 2nd April, 2023
